My DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse #StyleandDeliver Pick of the Month for April is here! For this month selection, I wanted to bring to light a major footwear trend, that is not only stylish, but super wearable. White contrast soles on dress shoe options are an amazing way to get the best of both worlds.
I selected a tan penny loafer from a brand that is new to Designer Shoe Warehouse, but has been a household staple for every stylish gent’s footwear arsenal, Florsheim. The brand is known for their incredible quality and comfort, but they definitely do have a lot to offer in the style department.
I love these Union Penny Loafers because they can be easily paired with a casual look, as I am wearing in this post, but can make any spring/summer suit look absolutely fresh and fabulous. Another key benefit of having a rubber sole is that these shoes are wearable in any weather! Plus, because this is a loafer style, it can be worn with no show socks (as I did in this look) or you can showcase a bolder sock option for extra style points. Additionally, you can pick up the Union Cap-toe shoe, which is a lace-up oxford, also boasting the beautiful contrast white sole.
For my look, I brought back my prep routes with a super comfortable but sharp look. I started the look with a stripe shirt and layered with a cotton cardigan. I absolutely love it when gentleman experiment with colour, and I wanted to show how easy it can be. So for my trousers, I went for a pink chino. More so, I love how the loafers contrasted with my pants.
