Learning how to drive stick with the 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback! #SaveTheManual

#Sponsored – This post is brought to you by the all new 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback!

Hi Prepsters,

Last week I had the chance to partner with Toyota to learn how to drive stick in the stunning all new 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback! My family is a true Toyota family, we have the 2017 Corolla and a Toyota Venza but I’ve never driven stick before in my life. My sister and I like to joke around that we’re bad enough of drivers as-is but we really do love driving! So I was elated when I had the opportunity to drive manual! Especially considering that now that we live in such a technologically driven world, where automatic vehicles have become the new standard and the industry is moving towards automation, we don’t often get to experience real driving!

Can we talk about how sexy the new ‘Blue Flame’ colour is?

The 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback has a few amazing features that I was really excited to try! One of the key perks includes the new 6 speed iMT – which stands for intelligent Manual Transmission. This is an anti-stall feature allowing for a comfortable way to ease into manual driving! The 2019 Corolla models also features an impressive range of safety technologies with Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 w/ Lane Tracing Assist. Some of these types of sophisticated technology are normally reserved for higher end vehicles, but Toyota believes everyone deserves to arrive safely, and has included this suite of safety features in most of their vehicles as standard!  The Corolla Hatchback is actually the first to receive the newest version of Toyota Safety Sense (2.0). Let’s not forget the gorgeous media display with Entune 3.0 and Apple CarPlay.

I am obsessed with the sleek and sporty design too!

What I really enjoyed about the vehicle was how spacious it was inside and comfortable to drive! It made learning to drive stick feel so easy ~ especially with how smoothly it drove on the road (the main reason my family is obsessed with Toyota)!
