If you read the top fashion magazines out there, every summer the “new” “idea” of a double breasted blazer is re-introduced. Often they will even mention that the navy blazer is a trend, and I’m always like..since when? I mean it has been around for centuries and the only thing that you can really call the double breasted suit is that it is an essential.
There is a trend which I believe has now become a staple in all types of summer suiting is the usage of lighter & brighter colours. Personally there is no real longevity unless you get very neutral colours which would work every year.
If you are one to make a statement however, try to go for pastel colours – rather than neon or prime tones.
