Hey Prepsters
It’s finally time for the third and final grooming product review in partnership with Philips! So far this year, we’ve covered the Philips BeardTrimmer Series 5000 Stubble Trimmer, the Philips 9000 Wet and Dry Shaver, and we even talked a little bit about the Philips OneBlade again! In this post, we are reviewing the Philips 7000 Series, 7700 Wet & Dry Shaver and will be referred to as the Philips 7700 throughout the post. In case you are new to my blog, all products reviewed on the blog are completely honest and go through a minimum of 1 month of testing. In the case of the Philips 7700, I have been using this product for almost 6 months, so that I can provide a thorough, and accurate review.
What You Need To Know
The Philips 7700 is like the Series 9000 can be utilized wet or dry, using Philips Aquatec technology. Also the shaver can be rinsed clean under the tap by opening the shaver head.. Additionally, the Philips 7700 features SkinGlide ring technology, with GentlePrecisionProBlades.
Essentially, the SkinGlide rings feature is coated with microspheres, which reduce friction and resistance to the skin. Which makes it a great shaver for people with sensitive skin, and also provides for smoother results.
The GentlePrecisionPro blades allow for a super close shave that can cut stubble up to 3 days long. Which is amazing if you’re like me and your facial hair grows super quickly! The flex heads goes in 5 directions and works with the contours of your face, which makes it smoother and also more precise!
The shaver comes with a SmartClick precision trimmer head, which can be pressed on easily. This allows you to trim your sideburns, moustache and also line your beard.
The shaver charges fully in one hour, which allows you to utilize it for 50 minutes before requiring a recharge. Additionally, you can also do a quick charge when you’re on the go and need one full shave.
Finally, the trimmer comes with a 2-year worldwide guarantee, a travel friendly pouch, 3 level displays to indicate battery levels, if it needs to be cleaned, and a travel-lock indicator.
My Final Verdict
Overall, the Philips 7700 Wet and Dry shaver is pretty amazing! I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a razor that is sensitive skin friendly. I personally use this in combination to my OneBlade to really define my beard line.
