As you all know may know by now, Joe Fresh is pretty much my go-to brand for everyday essentials, and in fact – I have at least one Joe Fresh item on everyday…. and I’m not even exaggerating (best undershirts ever, 3 for $15 packs available in store – SCORE!). So I thought it would only be fitting to share a few of my fave essentials for the summer.
The first item is the gingham short sleeve shirt. I have this item in both the navy, as you see in this post, and light red. What’s great about gingham is that it works with every look. You can through a bow-tie and keep it preppy, or button it up and wear it with coloured jeans for a fun youthful look. I decided to pair it with navy chino shorts, which happen to also be from Joe Fresh.
As the title of the post says, these are pretty much essential items that every guy can wear, but it’s the versatility that really makes these items a must-have staple. You can dress the chinos up by throwing on a coloured oxford shirt and a navy linen blazer, or keep it casual like I did in the pics below.
For accessorizing, baseball caps are in and since I’m not really into heavily branded head-pieces, I love the simple cotton piece from Joe Fresh. Plus, when you’re having a bad hair day or simply do not want to style it, you can throw on this cap and look fly on the go.
Now my favourite thing about Joe Fresh, besides their stylish high quality everyday pieces, is their super affordable price. The gingham short sleeve shirt is only $25, the chino shorts are $19, and the baseball cap is $12 (I’m not making this up).
