The Mercanti Fiorentini ‘Eva’ dress shoe is a unique twist to a classic wingtip oxford style. What I really love about this style is the detailing which gives it a modern and updated look, from the exaggerated contrast stitching, the suede/nubuck feel leather upper and the contrast colour midsole. Additionally, these have a more rugged appeal, which also pair well with a more toned down look, like I have worn in this post. The broguing detail on the toe gives it a very lux appeal, while the padded innersole cushioning provides for extra comfort when you’re on the go!
How to style the Merchant Fiorentini ‘Eva’ Dress Shoe
As mentioned earlier, the Eva is quiet a rugged style for a dress shoe, which means it is quite versatile. For this look, I paired it with an oversized peacoat, crew neck sweater, sports shirt and a slim dress trouser. Although these are a pair of black dress shoes, they definitely pack a lot of style punch! These would look beautiful with your fave pairs of dark wash/black jeans – all the way through to dress slacks. For a cozy winter look, pair these with a tailored grey tweed suit trouser, a black turtleneck and a camel overcoat.
