Hi Prepsters,
This past weekend, I went on a road trip with my family to the beautiful Prince Edward County. Our friends at Ford Canada were kind enough to let us take a stunning new Ford Explorer for a drive! Before I get into our adventure, I highly recommend checking out the Ford Explorer if you haven’t done so already at Ford.ca!
STOP 1 – THE DRAKE DEVONSHIRE
Our trip to PEC started off a little bit shaky due to the insane thunderstorm on our drive there. But thankfully the car still was a smooth ride and we got to enjoy every moment of it – especially thanks to the amazing media player! Our first stop for the trip was to the incredibly beautiful Drake Devonshire, which is a part of The Drake hotel family.
The stunning inn is a huge tourist destination for GTA residents and their brunch menu is pretty spectacular.
My parents recently celebrated their 30th anniversary, which is definitely something I want to aspire to have in the future. They are the love of my life for now however!
STOP 2 – FRUGAL AND COMPANY
For our second stop; we visited the small town of Picton which has a population of under 5000 residents! But to my surprise, it was so busy! One of the hot spots in the town is a vintage shop called Frugal and Company.
The store has tons of adorable little things and I was beyond tempted to get a vintage sewing machine – but my sister was hesitant because I’m a total hoarder. So I contained myself and didn’t pick it up!
STOP 3 – THE LAVENDER FARM
The last and final stop was this beautiful lavender farm in the PEC area. Apparently this has become a major hot spot for bloggers in Toronto, as I saw a few friends posting there as well!
The farm was cute, but I mean… my parents were way more adorable!
It was a beautiful way to end our trip and we definitely enjoyed the much needed family time together.
Thanks for reading this post and a giant thank you to Ford Canada for the amazing vehicle and trip! I hope you enjoyed my family adventure!
