DAY 3 AT TOM*FW – MY OUTFIT #TPGXJOEFRESH

Hey Prepsters,

Here is my final look that I wore to Toronto Men’s Fashion Week. By the time it was day 3 of TOM*FW, I was exhausted – as were most people that participating in the phenomenal and busy week. I wanted to put together an outfit that was super comfortable but still wanted to look put together.

The Oxford Shirt

I started off my look with a classic, the white oxford shirt from Joe Fresh. I’ve been wearing Joe Fresh’s oxfords shirts for a very long time. I love the durability, the thick ply and more importantly the fabulous price. I actually stock up every year with 3 of the white oxfords and 3 of the blues, which you may have seen several times over in past posts. The oxford shirt is the most versatile shirt for men, period. Every stylish man that I know has several in their wardrobe. For myself, I tend to wear them so often, that I need the backups to rotate (I rock oxfords literally twice a week at minimum) and with a price of only $29 – it is definitely easy to get multiples.

The Cotton Crew Neck

Well, if you had the chance to see my last Joe Fresh outfit post, you would have heard me talk about how the two necessary sweaters styles every guy needs is a V-neck and a crew neck. For this look, I wanted to go for a much more relaxed and urban look, so I paired it with the crew-neck which gave the rest of my look a much more sports luxe vibe. This Joe Fresh winner is also only $29… I mean like c’mon #steal.

The Stretch Trousers

Now I am a man who stayed true to my word, I mentioned that due to a leg injury – I needed to repeat my Le Chateau stretch jeans for everyday of fashion week. I literally cannot thank these super stretch jeans enough for saving my week. They were beyond comfortable and I’ve ordered myself another pair, because I simply cannot live without them.

The Cotton Parka

I found this parka when my TPGSTYLE creative Venket Ravindra (aka the awesome and stylish guy walking with my a few pics below) and I went shopping at H&M at Oakville Place. I found it on clearance for only about $35, so I couldn’t say no. It is unavailable, but I’m sure you can find similar styles from H&M’s ss16 collection.

The Ray-Ban Signet Sunglasses

I have a funny story behind these sunnies. My dad purchased them for me when I was in high school, and to be honest, I hated them. I thought they looked funny but I couldn’t ever let go of them. Now, they’re definitely my favourite style from the iconic sunglass brand. The detailing is stunning and the gold frame stands out beautifully. Unfortunately, the style has been discontinued and I personally do not want to recommend a reseller that I have never dealt with, but feel free to scour the net to find a pair. It’s a great collectors item.

The Bulova Accutron II Surveyor Watch

This stunning timepiece is beyond timeless. It works with almost every sort of look. I’ve done preppy, suited and now casual and the style worked with every look impeccably. Here’s a full in-depth review of the style by yours truly: The Bulova Surveyor Review

The Cole Haan Zerogrand

The zerogrand is the newest innovative footwear design by the American luxury powerhouse. This beautifully dapper shoe combines the comfort of a sneaker and sharpness of an oxford to amplify any look. I was a huge fan of the lunargrand, with several pairs of my own, but this one definitely takes the cake. Kudos, Cole Haan.
