With driving in mind, I thought I’d share a few of my favourite road trip destinations, as well as a few locations that I can’t wait to check out.
- Fan Favourite: Niagara Falls – Ontario
Niagara Falls is not only one of the world’s most visited attractions (with more than 22 million annual visitors), but also a great place to hang out with your family, or even go on a date. There’s so much that you can do, from exploring, taking pictures at the Falls or checking out tons of local shops, hotels and casinos. I visit the Niagara Falls area pretty regularly, but it is especially spectacular during the holidays!
- Day-Tripper: Canada’s Wonderland – Vaughan, Ontario
It pretty much goes without saying, but Canada’s Wonderland is the ultimate road trip destination if you’re looking to have fun. It’s all ages and perfect for any group, whether it is with family or friends. There are a ton of fun rides, good food, and it is perfect for a shorter drive if you’re from the GTA.
- #RoadTripGoals: Le Chateau Frontenac – Quebec City, Quebec
Fairmont’s Chateau Frontenac is a stunning landmark in Quebec City, but is the ultimate luxury weekend getaway. The historical structure is beautiful and thoroughly Instagram-worthy, which is why it is on the top of my list for future getaways. The Chateau Frontenac resides in the heart of Quebec City, and has amazing shopping, tourist attractions, and fun adventures for everyone to experience.

Hi Syed!
Great post, loved reading it! Somewhere I’d like to road trip to is Banff, Alberta. The view looks stunning!!!!
I have always been in love with Muskoka, although people think that its a summer destination, its gorgeous in the fall. Enjoying nature around the fire, roasting marshmallows and having beers around the fire sounds like a dream.
I’d love to road trip to Cape Cod! Did it once last year and it was one of my favourite experiences – and I’d love to do it again!
I’d be heading out to Prince Edward county for some wine tasting & a nice lunch.
I’d like to road trip to Halifax.
I would really like to go to Midland (it’: my hometown!) but Niagra would be the dream!!
Id love to take a road trip through the East Coast! So many beautiful places to see and so much to do along the way!
Sea-to-Sky Country (BC) looks pretty amazing and a great place to visit ( Sea-to-Sky Gondola looks particularly cool)
I would love to go up to Algonquin Park, taking my hubby who has never been. It is stunning- and seeing a moose or two would be awesome!
I would like to go up north with my fiance!
Road trip to Vancouver!
I’d also love to road trip to the Niagara Region and visit some fruit orchards in the summer time! Peach… yum
I would love to drive to the Scenic Caves in Collingwood! So many things to do, you could go ziplining, march through caves, or walk across the suspension bridge, to name a few. I’m sure it looks especially beautiful this time of year, as tree leaves are changing from green to orange, yellow and red (there are a lot of trees).
