With driving in mind, I thought I’d share a few of my favourite road trip destinations, as well as a few locations that I can’t wait to check out.

  1. Fan Favourite: Niagara Falls – Ontario

Niagara Falls is not only one of the world’s most visited attractions (with more than 22 million annual visitors), but also a great place to hang out with your family, or even go on a date. There’s so much that you can do, from exploring, taking pictures at the Falls or checking out tons of local shops, hotels and casinos. I visit the Niagara Falls area pretty regularly, but it is especially spectacular during the holidays!

  1. Day-Tripper: Canada’s Wonderland – Vaughan, Ontario

It pretty much goes without saying, but Canada’s Wonderland is the ultimate road trip destination if you’re looking to have fun. It’s all ages and perfect for any group, whether it is with family or friends. There are a ton of fun rides, good food, and it is perfect for a shorter drive if you’re from the GTA.

  1. #RoadTripGoals: Le Chateau Frontenac – Quebec City, Quebec

Fairmont’s Chateau Frontenac is a stunning landmark in Quebec City, but is the ultimate luxury weekend getaway. The historical structure is beautiful and thoroughly Instagram-worthy, which is why it is on the top of my list for future getaways. The Chateau Frontenac resides in the heart of Quebec City, and has amazing shopping, tourist attractions, and fun adventures for everyone to experience.

To help fuel your next road trip, and to commemorate the 1 year anniversary of the Scotiabank GM Visa and the Scotiabank GM Infinite Visa, Scotiabank will be giving away a $50 gas gift card. Tell me where you want to go on your next road trip in the comments below by Sunday, October 30th, 2016 for a chance to win

I would love to drive to the Scenic Caves in Collingwood! So many things to do, you could go ziplining, march through caves, or walk across the suspension bridge, to name a few. I’m sure it looks especially beautiful this time of year, as tree leaves are changing from green to orange, yellow and red (there are a lot of trees).
