JOHNSTON & MURPHY | MADE IN THE USA #TPGxJohnston&Murphy

For 165 years, Johnston & Murphy has been making footwear for some of the most powerful, successful and well dressed gentlemen in American history. The iconic brand, best known for their high quality and classic men shoes has always been in my top 3 footwear brands of all time. To this date, I still remember my first pair of Johnston & Murphy shoes that I purchased in high school, they were so comfortable and dependable.

The Made in the USA line by Johnston and Murphy consists of high quality bench crafted footwear, leather belts and lapel flowers. The shoes are made of hand selected European calfskin leathers to ensure the highest quality. The line features goodyear welt construction on the footwear for extra comfort and mold to your feet overtime for a extremely customized fit. One of the best services that I love from Johnston & Murphy is that they offer refurbishment services, so that each pair of the Made in USA collection footwear gets a lifetime of wear.

The pair I selected is the Kiltie Tassel Wingtip. It’s pretty rare to find a pair that features so many exquisite details, while maintaining a sleek and modern design. Though these are dress loafers, they definitely called for a lot of conversation at Toronto Men’s Fashion Week. Also, the shoes comes with individual dust bags which make it easier to store and protect, which is super important because I definitely want these to last for a long time.

My experience was definitely a pleasant one, and I would highly recommend the Made in USA line, especially if you’re looking to impress your boss. The line has dress oxfords, loafers and boots and retails from $550 Canadian.
