I’m so excited to share my review of the Spring Summer 2016 Marine Star Chronograph Watch (reference code: 96B256) from Bulova. I have been trying out the watch for a few months now so that I could provide an educated, honest review of the style.
About the Marine Star collection
The Marine Star collection from Bulova has been one of the most popular styles for the watch maker. The collection is designed for serious fun in and out of the water, with features such as high performance and water resistance of up to 200 metres. What’s great about the newest collection of Marine Star styles is the new Duramic case, Bulova’s proprietary nylon/ceramic composite, adds lightness with durability and strength. The collection features chronographs and analog/digital styles with both quartz and automatic movements. Many models offer ratcheted unidirectional elapsed-time beze; rings, screw-down crown, alarms and tachymeters.
My Bulova Marine Star
I have the beautiful spring 2016 release from the Marine Star collection (reference code: 96B256). What I love most about the style is the nautical face colour way. The watch boasts a six hand chronograph with accenting orange tones, which compliments the blue dial. I appreciated the fold-over closure with a pusher, which is detailed with the Bulova logo, because it adds an elegant touch. The bracelet is made of stainless steal and has a lovely silver tone finish. I personally think it is a great watch for everyday adventures throughout the summer.
