For those who may be wondering what took me so long to complete my posts for my WMCFW looks, I was extremely sick for the past week, and was seriously dragging myself through each day. But I am finally feeling a little better and hopefully you can understand my words. But back to my outfit, my day 3 look is by far my most daring look to date. I usually don’t go out of my comfort zone, but I knew that if I did, I would want to rock my friend and designer, Alan Ta’s look from his Toronto Men’s Fashion Week FW15 show. You can read more about the the designer from our Q&A! I paired the runway cape and real fox fur eyebrows with a simple black turtleneck from Joe Fresh and Black Jeans by Cheap Monday at East Dane.
The bag is by HYM, a Canadian brand which I am collaborating with! Designer Christina Di Pede’s stuff is really great! Check it out at www.HYMonline.com
At first I was kind of nervous about the reaction I would get on my look, because I usually stick to my blazer uniform. However, it actually ended up being one of my favourite looks that I have ever worn to date. The best part was walking on my way to Fashion Week from Ryerson (my university) and having strangers take a double take and some ask for pictures of myself.
Finally once I got to WMCFW location, I was finally loving my look. My friend and fellow Blogger Jhake (Fashion According to Jhake) didn’t even recognize me until I spoke. To my surprise, the outfit was one of the best responses I have gotten from most people!
