Hey Prepsters,
Welcome to #BRINGINGPREPPYBACK a new series of outfit posts that I will be sharing throughout the year. I wanted to create a series to hopefully inspire men on how to add a little bit of prep in their life. Over the past year, street-style has become the dominating trend in menswear, but nothing beats the sharpness of prep fashion. So I hope you enjoy, and if this is your first time checking out my blog, be sure to subscribe via email.
It’s finally starting to feel like winter in Canada, so I thought it would be the perfect time to showcase my newest coat! I picked this Camel coat up from Banana Republic‘s website. I have been wanting a camel coat for a really long time, but I wasn’t sure on where to find one that fit me well, and also had the right shade of camel.
What I love about the camel topcoat is that it is super sharp, and that is adds a little warmth to your look. Of course the colour is more limited than wearing a black/grey/navy topcoat, so I recommend purchasing a camel coat after you have at least one black/grey/or navy coat in your wardrobe.
I personally love the combination of a red tone + a camel tone, so I paired my camel topcoat with a burgundy merino wool turtleneck, also from Banana Republic. I anchored my look with my essential black J Brand Mick Skinny Jeans from East Dane. I continued the burgundy with my Cole Haan penny loafers, in which I added gold tassels.
To accessorize my look, I wore the FOSSIL Q Grant watch, which is the newest release from the leading accessory brand. The FOSSIL Q features Intel innovation, which tracks my fitness and also cues my notifications. The Grant is one of the two styles from FOSSIL’s Q line that I will be sharing a full watch review for this week. The FOSSIL Q Grant watch is available online and in store at Hudson’s Bay. I am also wearing my gold Ray-Ban Signet sunglasses and my Cole Haan duffle bag.
